Born and raised in Palermo, Sicily, Chef Claudio Giganti brings a lifetime of culinary passion and authentic Italian tradition to every dish he creates. Trained at the prestigious Istituto Alberghiero in Palermo, Chef Claudio honed his skills in some of Canada’s most respected kitchens before founding Giganti Events Planning & Catering in 2010.
With over 20 years of experience in the food and beverage industry, Chef Claudio’s cooking style blends rustic Sicilian flavors with modern techniques—always emphasizing fresh ingredients, simple elegance, and bold taste.

Chef Claudio will arrive at your location with fresh ingredients, printed recipe cards, and all the expertise needed to guide your group through the preparation of a delicious Italian meal. He’ll also handle clean-up of his prep area so you can relax and enjoy the meal afterward—or store it away for the week ahead.

n-person classes are ideal for small to medium-sized groups (2–10 people). Whether it’s a private couple’s class or a fun night with friends, we can tailor the experience to your group size and needs.

A clean kitchen space with basic equipment (stove, oven, pots, pans, etc.) is required. Chef Claudio will bring the ingredients, recipe cards, and any specialty tools needed for the dishes.

You’ll receive a downloadable recipe card and a private video link where Chef Claudio walks you through each step of the recipe. You’ll also have the option to connect with him via phone or video call for live questions during your class time.

Before class, we’ll send you a list of ingredients and kitchen tools needed. You’ll need to shop for your ingredients and have everything ready before starting the video tutorial. It’s recommended you read through the recipe card and prep as much as possible ahead of time.
