Ontario is currently in Step 2 of the Roadmap to Reopen.
On Friday, July 16 at 12:01 a.m., Ontario will move to Step 3.
In this section:
Indoor organized public events and social gatherings are Indoor organized public events and social gatherings are permitted up to 5 people.
Individuals who live alone may consider gathering exclusively with another household to help reduce the negative impacts of social isolation.
An indoor organized public event or social gathering can be larger only if it includes:
Outdoor organized public events and social gatherings are permitted up to 25 people.
Retirement homes are exempt from organized public event and social gathering restrictions if the home is in compliance with the policies or guidance, if any, issued by the Retirement Homes Regulatory Authority.
End of school year celebrations must meet the following requirements:
Gathering before and after the celebrations will not be permitted.
Ceremonies must comply with guidance issued by the Ministry of Education.
For weddings, funerals and other religious services, rites or ceremonies:
Receptions are permitted indoors up to 5 people. The reception can be larger only if it includes:
Outdoor receptions permitted up to 25 people.
Drive-in services, rites or ceremonies permitted, subject to certain conditions.
Virtual services permitted.
